Images of the previous eight incarnations of Fyre adorn the walls on the east and west walls. On the south wall sits a golden frame larger than the rest, but empty. Fyre sits continuing to stare into the pillar and he begins to see the landscape of his rich homeland. Various visions appear to him, the old ones sitting at council discovering the issues of the land, his obverse sitting and staring as Fyre lies in the chair dreaming. The other “Fyre” gazes up from Fyre’s body and looks as if he knows he’s being watched and just smiles. Taking his gaze from the pillar, Fyre removes the crystalline tablet from his robes and reads it again. “Kinsman- The time is quickly approaching for the consummation of the cycle. Soon you will receive the summons for the counsel. Do not tarry. When it comes you must answer or suffer the consequences. -Your Progenitor” Fyre sticks the tablet back in his robes and goes back to gazing into the pillar. |
